When you’ve decided that you are in need of a new pair of K-Swiss sneakers than you will really want to shop around. There are so many different styles on the market that you will want to determine what your needs are. Do you need sports shoes? Running shoes? Mixed exercise shoes? When you answer these questions you will be well on your way to exactly where you want to start your shopping spree. Another consideration is cost. Where do the best prices exist? What is your price range? Buy from an online retailer or a brick and mortar store? We will look at the questions and try and help you make an informed buying decision.

Let’s first look at the price of the sneakers you will be shopping for. K-Swiss sneakers range in price from roughly $50.00 in upwards of $200.00, however, the sweet spot of the K-swiss product line seems to be around $100.00. The most popular running shoe in the line is the Run One-miSOUL Tech. These shoes fall into that $100.00 range and there is quite a nice selection of styles and colors. These shoes come with customizable performance insoles so that they can fit your foot perfectly. For a hundred dollars, these shoes are quite competitive with other products on the market from the likes of Nike or Adidas. Closer to the $75.00 price point you can find K-Swiss Approach or K-Force shoes. These shoes feature lightweight materials and make for an excellent all around shoe. Some also feature the heel grip lining which helps keep the sock stuck to the shoe sides. This help eliminate blisters and other irritations that affect comfort.

Next we will look at where to buy your K-Swiss shoes. Of course there are brick and mortar stores of all types, shoes stores, department stores, etc. There are also many online retailers that carry the K-Swiss sneaker and often do so at a greatly reduced price. You can find K-Swiss products at big time online forces like Amazon, or small scale specialty stores. Perhaps the best place to buy these sneakers is Zappos that carries a big line of shoes and also offers them at a great price. One other consideration for buying online at a large retailer is that they often have phenomenal return policies which is very important in our opinion. Buy a pair of K-Swiss sneakers that just don’t quite work? Then many of these retailers will simply take them back and refund your money. How can you beat that?

So in the end you have many choices on where to buy your K-Swiss sneakers. Just do your shopping as far as styles and types, then narrow that search by using a large online retailer. You will save money and come away with a great pair of shoes!

K-Swiss is popular brand of athletic shoes available worldwide. An American brand, K-Swiss has its headquarters in Westlake Village, California, though its strong line of athletic and casual shoes sells extremely well across the globe. The K-Swiss sneaker has become a significant product in the sports, casual, and dress segments of the shoe market.

In 1966, at the height of civil unrest in Cuba, two Swiss immigrants introduced the world’s first leather tennis shoes in the country. At the time the brothers had no idea they were forming the core of a future major shoe franchise – the K-Swiss brand – in Los Angeles, California. But everything was quiet for the next two decades until, in 1986, Stride Rite retail executive Steven Nichols took an active interest in the K-Swiss tennis shoes. He tried to convince his superiors to acquire K-Swiss. But none of them were interested and decided to pass on the opportunity.

Steven Nichols however didn’t share the same views. So he got together a group of investors and bought the company, K-Swiss, for 20 million USD. Steven Nichols called the distinctive K-Swiss white stripes, the design which he loved, on white K-Swiss leather tennis shoes the “classic 50-year shoe“. His bosses back at Stride Rite should’ve listened to him. In 2005, the K-Swiss brand’s global sales passed the $500 million mark.

The K-Swiss brand is known for designing high quality shoes that aren’t “mass produced”. Sure, there are two or three other shoes brands out there that outsell K-Swiss in the global market. But K-Swiss will always be known as the shoe company that prefers quality and novelty over mass sales.

Today K-Swiss offers several lines of shoes for men and women.

K-Swiss Tennis Shoes – This is where it all began. K-Swiss tennis shoes are perfect for the sport. After all they’ve been making these kinds of shoes since 1966. While the classic K-Swiss leather tennis shoe design is still available, the company now also manufactures non-leather tennis shoes.

K-Swiss Running Shoes – K-Swiss running shoes are ultra-light and soft on the feet. These shoes are perfect for the serious running athlete.

K-Swiss Triathlon Shoes – The K-Swiss triathlon series offers the perfect balance of comfort and stability. Designed with care and made from genuine material, these triathlon shoes can withstand tough punishment and still feel nice to put on for an evening stroll.

K-Swiss Free Running Shoes – This line of K-Swiss running shoes is for the casual runner. Recommended for amateur athletes who have no intention of taking up serious running.

From a pair of leather tennis shoes in 1966 to being endorsed by some of the world’s most popular athletes of the 21st century—Anna Kournikova, Tommy Haas, Mike Bryan, Bob Bryan, Sam Querrey, Cara Black, Chris Leto, Michaella Krajicek, Leanda Cave, etc.—the K-Swiss sneaker brand has definitely come a long way. Only time will tell what K-Swiss has in store for us next.
